Ahhh. Dawn again and another beautiful day in
paradise. Barbara here doing the dawn patrol. Now I'm sure I've said
this before but I don't think I could ever get bored of staring at the
sea. the air hear has an incredible clarity which seems to make the early
morning sky white and multicoloured at the same time - pink, purple, orange,
gold, and oh yes, blue.
We have been rolling along ast a very relaxed 4
kts for this morning and most of yesterday. At this rate we should hit st
Lucia some time in the middle of next march. trouble is we might have run
out of chocolate and DVD's by then. This situation is not helped by family
members sending us jolly e-mails asking why we are sitting in the least windy
part of the Atlantic? Well mr geographical mapping guru, if you're so
clever, why don't you tell us where the wind is cos I think we know
where it isn't.
Right well. Can't be sitting around here
all day, got things to do. there's wildlife spotting - 5 birds and almost
a whale (it was a long way off and we only saw the spout - 10 points to Kevin)
bracing sea water shower, except that it's not that bracing when the sea water
temperature is 27 degrees, and definitely 10 points to my friend Lief who
suggested that I bring proper salt water shampoo it's great!, then
there's lots of books to read, Spanish lessons, and this afternoon I thought I
might go for a walk.
