The final leg on this voyage over to Malta offered  “dream sailing”. We had a nice westerly breeze and logged between 8 and 9 knots all the way across. We arrived Valletta in the early evening after only 7 hours at sea and moored at Kalkara Marina. We spent two days in the very pretty town before we left the boat and went home to Sweden for the summer break in cool Sweden. We plan to return in the beginning of September when the worst heat is over to continue our trip towards the Greek islands.
