We have left Alicante and are making great way towards Gibraltar and hopefully straight on to Tenerife. Gary Christie has departed and swapped out with Ruth, cheers Gary for helping us get as far as Alicante.
The wind started very light and has now built to 25 knots from astern, yay! Engines are off, two reefs in the main, full stay sail and trotting along at 8.5-9 knots of boat speed. The wind is forecast to rise further by lunch time so we are vey glad to be going in the right direction for once. Ruth was given a dolphin showcase last night, the sea was very calm with slight bio-luminescence outlining all six of them as they played in the bow wave, welcome back to the boat Ruthie.
