Fantastic 24hr run of 175nm , but actually only 170 of those made good to St Lucia
Debs and I came on watch at 4.00 this morning and the bad weather was right behind , either a very large squall or trough which brought strong winds and heavy rain (still going on at 10.00) and building seas.
With 2 reefs in all sails we are still  making 8 to 10 knots – anything but slow and as different to the last 15 days as is possible-

Whilst sitting at the wheel helming,-Nick got hit on the forehead by a flying fish! I think the fish came off worse ,but it was quite a shock for Nick and he,s looked a little scaly ever since.
We threw the little chap back in the water to tell his mates about the folly of trying to fly over the top of yachts and head butting hairy monsters.

ON WE GO
