On our very last day, sailing back to Port Louis after a wonderful week in the Grenadines, we finally managed to catch a Tuna and get it on board. We had tried everything during the latter stages of our trip and had several fish on the line (the ones that got away) so it was extremely satisfying to get one in the end and have fresh Tuna for our final lunch on board. Many thanks to Vicky’s brother for his very kind advice and his present of two excellent lures. In the end, I have to confess that it was a simple cedar plug that caught this one in the strong currents that flow just north of Grenada but, armed with this success and all our new kit, we are looking forward to many more catches on our next trip.

Not the biggest Tuna you have ever seen but….if it wins that bet it will have to be referred to as a "hundred pounder"?
