Noon on the first day with 136 miles run in the 24 hours since leaving Horne island.  All is well on board and we still have several yachts around us, mostly the smaller ones similar to Tashi Delek as the bigger yachts and Catamarans are now far ahead.  The morning radio schedule found 29 Yachts answering up and giving their positions.  I say 29, actually slightly less than that as some yachts do not have HF / SSB radios so we had set up a system for them to call on VHF and relay their positions via the closest yacht with HF.  So all 29 yachts were recorded.  Excellent.

We are making good progress (averaging 6 knots) despite a period yesterday afternoon when the wind dropped to a few knots and we all struggled.  It was a clear starry night with the lights of 9 other yachts visible all night.  A very new experience.  524 miles to go.
