Once the sanding on the bottom is complete and there is no more blue dust in the air, it is possible to go over the entire upper hull by hand with wet sand paper. Then comes the really fun bit of polishing the whole thing.  At this point I was very glad she is only 42 feet long.  Tai Chi exercises each morning mean I am still able to lift my arms above my head by the end of week 2.

And after re-painting the boot stripe (dark blue bit - usually done beautifully by Carol) Tashi Delek is beginning to look good!
