We have just picked up a mooring buoy at Marina Tahina, Papeete, Tahiti
after probably the worst weather conditions we have experienced yet for a
crossing. Too much wind, too much rain and instead of short sharp bursts as
per the usual squall this was hours on end day and night. Winds gusted to
50 knots, ie storm force! Our only worry when we set off was that the winds
were forecast to all but disappear by the second day so that wasn't too
accurate.

Nevertheless, we are fine and managed to catch up on sleep in short bursts
so although we are very tired now (5pm local time) a Marks and Spencers
tinned chicken korma followed by an early night will sort us out. We are
pleased that we got through it without getting too stressed so our
experience must be showing!

It is amazing to think that we have brought Tashi Delek all the way to
Tahiti. Wow.

We will be downloading a lot of blogs over the next couple of days. Now
that we have a wifi connection we can send all the proper ones with
photographs.

All for now, all is well.
