Miles run last two days - 143 and 150 nm

Total so far - 1760 nm

Miles left to run 1213 nm - so well over half way - yippee

The conditions have been rather more demanding over the last couple of days
and look set to continue this way for at least another 48 hours. Nothing
too ghastly but winds are now 20 - 24 knots gusting 30 and the sea is bigger
and a lot more uncomfortable. This means that we have to much more actively
manage the steering which in turn means less rest, less time for fun stuff
(pity) and less time for boat jobs (great excuse). Last night we changed
our watches to do 1-2 hours on/off each rather than our usual 3 on, 3 off
which is too long to be on watch when there is a lot happening.

Mainly it is uncomfortable and annoying because we had hoped for relatively
gentle conditions and plenty of time on our hands.

The cooking is curtailed when it is like this but we still eat well and are
grateful to Marks and Spencer for the quality of their tinned meals.

Any thoughts of fishing are on hold

All for now.
