We had arranged to meet another Oxford friend, Sally, who was staying on Carriacou with another former Oxford resident, Alan.  We met for lunch, had a great evening at Alan’s house and arranged lunch on Tashi Delek, by this time anchored on Sandy Island.  Alan and Sally came out in Alan’s RIB, tied up alongside and opened the wine. 

Time passes, then Jane says – is that Alan’s RIB over there?  Indeed it was.  Robe separated from boat and off it went speeding along in the breeze and off out to sea.

Not too far away fortunately, and downwind, so no need to spend fifteen minutes putting the outboard onto our dingy, paddling would do it.  So, Alan and Mike set off, catch it up, secure it and back they come.
