Making progress. We have had excellent conditions. Some swell and roll but
nothing too uncomfortable and the winds have been no more than gusts of 30
knots. Generally blowing 10 - 20 which is great. The wind has been a bit
too much from directly behind us so we have had to zig zag a bit but nothing
too annoyingly off course.

Mikes arm is very much on the mend now and dressings are off so he is much
more comfortable. Happily the intense itching only lasted a couple of days
and he kept reminding himself that his granny always said that itching meant
it was getting better. Full story with photographs to follow.

We are still in contact with the Magellan net on the SSB radio and so
keeping in touch with what everyone else is up to. One poor chap hit
something with his propeller in the Panama canal so Mike called him up with
some sympathy on that one.

We feel we have left the Caribbean behind us now which is a bit sad because
there was still a lot to see and do there and we had made some good friends
but we are very excited about the next leg starting with the San Blas
Islands which several circumnavigators have told us was their favourite
place.
