Monday 18th April

 

Left at 10.15, light winds and some swell.  So far managed to sail for 3hours 15 minutes!  But we knew the winds would be light for the first day or so.

 

Dinner tonight is chicken in mushroom sauce with pasta.

 

Highlight of the day was a controlled destruction of a vessel that was a hazard to shipping, by the US Coast Guard.  Could only see lots of smoke on the horizon.
