Monday 2nd June – Thursday 5th June

We left Tyrell bay at 08.00 in company with “Puddlejumper” an ARC boat that we had originally met on Lanzarote. We had a great sail to Grenada with 1 reef in the main sail, and a few turns in the genoa and flew along. We arrived in the marina and tied up side on to a pontoon.

Whilst in the marina we took the bus to Spice Island marine to check the time of our haul out (Friday 13th June at 11.00) and to book the sails into Turbulence, the sail makers, for cleaning, any repairs and storage.

We stayed in Port Louis until Thursday 5th, meeting up with Scott and Julie on Katerina, who had also crossed the Atlantic on the ARC in 2012.  They are also on the same flight home as us on 18th June.

We left the marina and headed round the south west tip of Grenada and slogged our way into the wind to one of the southern anchorages at Mount Hartman Bay.
