Hi All
We made landfall in Manihi in the Tuamotus. Going through the narrow path in
the reef was quite challenging. We then went 1 mile into the atoll and laid
anchor. Katyc decided the entrance was too shallow for them and continued
onto Ahe, Telos who had steering problems in the night got in at 5Pm just as
the light was disappearing. You definitely don't want to be sailing in the
Atoll with bad light as the charts don't cover the area well and there are
coral heads all over the show.
What a beautiful place, this is one of the atolls where they produce the
black pearls, so looking forward to doing tours on the process.
