After two hours of motoring, we had enough wind to sail gently at the speed of 3.5 to 4 knots in a calm sea. At home on the sea, we looked at any stopovers, but to be honest, we are totally satisfied with white beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters and as long as we have enough wind and are moving, we are happy to keep going. It is a pleasure to be back in the groove of easy sailing conditions and life aboard Kahia is a happy one.
However we are very much looking forward to: Italian ice cream and a good stock up at Costco, especially for seriously strong cheddar cheese, smoked salmon and some decent wine.

This morning the wind shifted to SSW, we jibed over to port and reset our poled out yankee, running downwind at the comfortable speed of 5 to 6 knots.
Day 5 log: 126 miles, distance covered so far: 66 nm
