A boisterous sail from Maui across the Pailolo Channel to Molokai. We sailed the 21 miles just under the staysail and a very small headsail at a steady 7 knots in 25 to 30 knots of wind and large beam seas. The Hawaiian channels living up to their reputation, as the forecast gave 15 knots for today...
We are happy to be safely anchored behind the sea wall and in the good company of s/v Libby, Distant Drummer and Lady Carolina in calm water despite of the wind.
