Just as dawn lit the night sky with it’s magnificent colours we crossed the Equator at 5 to 5 am local time (Tahiti&Honululu).
Music and a cold mango smoothy to celebrate the occasion.

This crossing marks the ending of our South Pacific voyages, which we started on Sunday 15th April 2012, when we crossed the Equator Southbound at Longitude 88. Three years and 7 months exploring the South Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand. There is always more to see but we are now happy to returning to the Northern Hemisphere and look forward to Hawaii and beyond.

The sailing conditions are better than we expected. We continue a pleasant sail in calm seas, holding our Northerly course at a speed of 5.5 knots,
