The night was bouncy but we made good progress with winds being stable at 20 knots and a few gusts of up to 27 kts. Now the wind is mellowing with a comfortable swell and we were able to have a decent shower. Hoping for a wind shift, so that our heading is more towards New Zealand. At the moment we only manage a bearing of 100T, ideally we need to add 30 to 40 degrees to reach our Waypoint at Cape Brett, distance 249 nm.
The sun is still with us, although it's getting colder now. We look forward to some fresh bread later and the oven will give a nice heat for the night.
