We arrived here on Friday 5th September and as we had Westerly Winds were
anchored for a couple of days in the adjacent Bay Kanumera.
With the return of the South-easterly trade winds, we are now anchored in
this very popular Kuto Bay.
Normally there are at least two cruise ships a week, but there is a 10 day
break and we are enjoying a peaceful time with a few yachts coming and
going.
Lovely to be in the turquoise sea with white sand beaches, bordered by a
variety of trees. We had almost forgotten how refreshing it was to swim
again!
On our
first morning in Kanumera Bay, the Kyrimba crew was already snorkelling while we
were still sipping our coffee.
Beautiful ancient Pines tower
majestically around the bay
Another
peaceful anchorage!
