We left Weymouth early afternoon on the 7th of August, waved off by Sarah’s Mum, sister Lynn and niece, Eloise.  We had a lovely overnight sail heading west averaging 5 knots and with a beautiful sunset, followed by a star and moon lit night.  Pictures will follow when Sarah has learnt to edit photos from her new ‘Gopro’.

We arrived in the river Yealm at 8am, and spent a sunny day lazing and catching up on sleep and then on Sunday sailed round to Plymouth Yacht Haven. The last couple of days have seen us doing a round of the local chandlers and other shops stocking up on spares and equipment, as well as fitting a wind generator.

Tomorrow we expect to leave for Falmouth, which should be our last port before leaving the UK.
