51:07.12N 01:18.69E The banner in the background of the first photo says it all – Juniper has reached Dover! Sadly we had to motor but we’re on our way again. Once again we felt very small as we requested permission to enter Dover harbour; the next vessel to radio in was The Pride of Burgundy, a huge DFDS ferry hard on our heels, these big ships certainly make us feel like a miniature toy boat. Still, we’ve leaving the North Sea behind and entering the English Channel. Mind you, life’s not a bed of roses once you’re in the marina, there are plenty of dangers lurking in every corner – the second photo is the sign on the wall in front of us !?!
