Hi Everybody,

We discovered that the symbol of Santiago de Compostela is the scallop, which is why the Polish Pope has them on his chest, not a strange bra as we thought at first! People walk from all over Europe to come here on the Cominos, or ways. We made some friends from Germany too and they’re amongst the most travelled people we’ve ever met! They have a hulk of a red boat called Marlin that does expeditions with their own website and blog and here it is: http://www.sy-marlin.de

They were really kind to invite us over last night to their boat. We ate soup and tapas and discovered that they’ve written two books so far about their adventures. Both of their girls, Maya and Lena were born as they were making their way around the world. They gave us lots of advice and made us excited about the places we hope to see!

Write soon,
