Out of the marina, at last. I’m not saying it wasn’t that bad, but anchoring is more enjoyable. We all agree on that, except for Delphine. After watching a million episodes of Jessie, she doesn’t even pretend that she likes anchoring better. For the first time in a week, we swam to the beach yesterday. It is definitely warmer than the marina’s pool. As we swam, Dad and I saw two turtles. They were flying through the water, not giving us a second look with their bulging shells on their backs. Then I spotted a stingray. It's eyes looked straight at me and it's tail was ready to sting it’s prey. I wasted no time, I swam as fast as I could to get the camera from mom who was a little behind us. I took position and snapped. As we got to the beach, me and Delph tried to find the smoothest rocks to skim. After being in a marina for only a week, we we’re pretty rusty. We decided to swim back when the sand flies started to try and eat our scalps.

When we got back to Quest, we had Shepherds Pie, something we haven’t had in a while. Then Fin looked at us and we realised it was time to walk her. We lowered the dingy and engine and started her up. We serviced her in the marina and now she is easier to start. That’s a good note since she probably will not break down. It is hard to think that anything could be faster than Evil Edna. When we got to the beach, we found a pebble-free zone and lifted Evil Edna on to the beach. We went into the wild woods by the beach and imagined really big spiders stuck to our faces. Luckily there were none. Fin did her business and we went back to Quest.

More soon!

Love from Quest and her crew xx
