Hi Everybody,

These are a few photos from town today. The ferry comes at about midday and it gets really busy for a while, cars and taxis and people carrying their suitcases along the high street and then goes quiet again.

We went to the fudge shop today and when we were there a woman walked in with her new baby. We asked if the baby had been born on the island. A tall and jolly woman worked there and she laughed and said no and the mother got a little red and said that she had tried to stay.

The jolly woman told us then that if you're born in the emergency helicopter that takes you to the mainland, then your birth has to be registered in Germany! Something about the helicopter. She said a baby from St Agnes Island was born in the helicopter and now is German. Sort of.
