Hi Everyone!

Sorry it's been such a long time since we've written. Believe it or not, we've been in the Canary Islands the whole time since September. We've had a lot of things added to Quest; a hydrovane which is a self-steering mechanism, a water maker which acts as our distillation machine, a hydro generator which is similar to our solar panels but produces energy in the water because it has a propellor in the water. So this means that finally we are ready to go across the Atlantic Ocean! Samson's Dad, John joined us last week to help get the boat ready.

We are now sailing down the West African coast going towards the Cape Verdes. We caught a big tuna for dinner last night, spotted the wrinkled white belly of a huge whale surfing next to us this morning and saw dolphins streaking past in the middle of the night leaving light trails! The weather is getting warmer too and we are looking forward to the tropics! Speak soon,

Love from Quest and her crew xxx

PS Dorado this morning!!
