We had an easy day swimming and reading.  A storm came through around 6 p.m. but we hold tight. Other boats dragged and the thunder and lightening was something else.  It stopped as quick as it started and we were able to enjoy a lovely calm evening.  We were treated to a concert on the quay like we were the evening before.

Sunday morning on our way to Koufos we explored the little bays with amazing blue water in case we visit this area again.  Although the facilities for yachts is not like we are use to it is a very pleasant sailing area and if the weather is right lots of places to drop the anchor.

We managed to sail 10 miles and motor sail 5 miles. Not so many yachts in the bay at Koufos. We showered and went ashore for dinner choosing a different restaurant.  We were a little disappointed as the chicken I have was tough.

We had black clouds gathering on the mountains so we paid up quickly and were lucky to get back to Ariel as a rainstorm came through.  Many of the other yachties were not so lucky and could be seen desperately trying to get back to their yachts.  One boat went on the move and it was swept down the bay hitting several boats on the way.  Once the wind changed it started to come back the way it had gone.  The crew of the large yacht took control and went and rescued it before any damage could be done to their charge.   We noticed several absent dangers in Rod's book were missing as we travelled this coast line.

We had left around 8 a.m. and arrived safely in Koufos having seen two dolphins on our way.
