Tranquil Bay.  Monday 13^th August, 2012.

In our quest to get up to Lefkas to pick up the new anchor which has been delivered from England we left Sarakiniko Bay and picked up the strong breeze.  We were soon doing 8 and 9 knots up to the island of Arkoudhi where we lost the wind as the large island of Lefkas and its mountains gave us cover.  Now we motored up to Nidri and anchored in Tranquil Bay as we had covered 22 miles and it was around 3 p.m. and too late to get up to Lefkas before the shop closed.

We caught up with a fellow job friend and he very kindly filled us in on where to go on the Peloponnisos and the castles to visit.

The super yacht White Rose of Druchs motored past us and into Vlikho Bay.  We were shocked that a super yacht this size would even attempt to go into Vlikho as it is not very deep out of the channel.  It spent two nights and it was still there when we left the next day.
