Day 5

We left Lille Korno at 9.00 am after a good night ashore (and onboard). Jan and the girls had the spinnaker up within 200 meters of leaving the harbour and carried out several successful gybes before arriving at Smogen for a raid.

We went in search of lunch and found fresh prawns and cod in the fish market.

We set off with the girls on the helm and the boys working hard doing what they were told.

On the way we spotted a beacon with seals on and sailed around taking pictures. We passed through Hamburgersund  seeing the boats on lifting platforms alongside the houses and a remote mower trimming the lawns before sailing in to Ejallbacke late afternoon for lunch of prawns, cold meats and fresh bread.

We then had a walk round the village before retiring back on board as the rain arrived.

The girls produced cod in dill, lemon and breadcrumbs with french beans and new potatoes and Phil (yes Phil) produced a fruit crumble and custard.
