Wednesday 25th August

With Ski's and boots hired we drove to Coronet Peak, 18 kilometers from Queenstown. It was strange being back on ski's this is something we didn't expect to be doing when we set off from Gibraltar. It is the beginning of Spring here, a lovely sunny day just below freezing and It didn't take long to get our ski legs back. It's very different from skiing in Europe, not a tree in sight.
