With our fingers crossed that the engine repairs would hold we broke our moorings and left Ponta Delgada and headed back out into the Atlantic heading East round the end of the island and then Northwest fro Plymouth.

Heavy rain to start and then the skies cleared and gave us a very pleasant passage with only some fog as we approached the UK mainland. Then there it was Plymouth breakwater and we were back in the UK.
