From Birchenough, I headed to Tanganade I wanted to go to Chimanimani, with a possible intention of staying at the park and doing a walk…….

Huge commercial banana plantations,

Arrived at Mutare about 4pm, quite a big day….

Booked into the Wise Owl Motel. Was quite expensive, but pretty good quality…

Spar upmarket , no whites, yet I get targeted for begging

Dinner with Nick and Sue, at their house, very pleasant and relaxing!

Went for an exploring Run in the morning, saw the Green Coucal restaurant, and planned to go back that night

Dinner at the Green Coucal, Tony, the owner’s ex partner was quite a character, and we got on like a house on fire. He gave me a brand new $3 billion Zimbabwe dollar note.…. Mustafa from NGO peace keepers. What a very special evening and lots of insights gained

Went to Bvumba Mountains for a day ride. A very beautiful place. , had a great coffee and cake at the iconic, Tony’s Restaurant.
