It was a very pleasant night with virtually no wind and very flat sea. It was good to pass the Gibraltar and Cap St Vincent parallels yesterday. It meant that we were getting close to the Portuguese coast and land fall.

This morning we saw our first whale of the trip, it was about 100mm off Inshy’s beam. We stopped for some 10 minutes and just watched it surface as it spouted.
