Belinda celebrated her birthday today; she would have loved breakfast in bed but had to put up with not a lot of sleep due to the night watches and we’re still well heeled over. I did how ever make her breakfast albeit brunch.  All Belinda wants is land, a large cold beer and a surface that isn’t moving under her. She’ll just have to wait! Her granddaughter singing happy birthday to her via the sat phone really made her day though!

We are constantly surrounded by large ships making their way over the worlds oceans, thankfully our AIS sees all of them. We currently have a brisk North wind pretty much on the nose and sunny conditions, so whilst the going is bumpy, it is warm.
