Well we have made the move to Curacao after 12 weeks in Bonaire (I will do a blog on the last month in the next few days). We had a lovely downwind sail and realising how much we had missed sailing we both wished the trip was longer.
We arrived in Spanish water early afternoon and anchored in one of the designated anchorages, there are lots of boats here we have met / seen before including our friends on Incentive who are anchored in the same anchorage, Rik and Sanne popped by to welcome us and fill us in on what thy have been doing since they left Bonaire and of course has a couple of beers while we caught up with each other .
We are preparing the boat to be left in a marina here while we fly home early next week and we were hoping that the wind would be light enough that we would be able to get the genoa down today but it wasn’t possible. Tomorrow we are heading to the marina.
