Filled up with water and fuel and left Mindelo at
1330 with a good NE wind of about 20 knots under jib alone but after and hour or
so poled ou the hanked on jib to be wing ang wing with both jibs.
At dusk we took down the hanked on jib and just
used the roller jib. We still have 15 to 20 knots od wind and a big swel aand
morfe rolling, but making good speed.
