Greetings, Greetings and Great Salutations!!
The crew of the Great Sailing Vessel Infiniti send big hugs and kisses to
All our Loved Ones,
If you don't like the idea of the kisses, then take your pleasure in the
hug, We will stray slightly from political correctness.
By now you may have guessed who is writing today, Yes, the one who is now
far out ahead in the Moustache competition, Stephen. While some aboard may
dispute this claim, I'm writing, so I'm winning. The power of the pen so to
speak. :-) Ok, enough about me. Yesterday, (12 Nov.) was a great day for
sail changes again. Pole up. Pole down. Pole Starboard, Pole Port, in more
simple terms our winds were varying greatly. The seas remain moderate and
the only rain is the token rain drops to start Dan's' watch. Dinner last
night was my special recipe of stuffed pork loin. I gave Kamarli the night
off from the galley and showed the English aboard how the Americans do it.
Was a huge hit all around. The sky during the night remained overcast and
dark. No more moon, but I truly understand why Mars is the red planet. Blood
red for the first hour it rises above the horizon. With all the shooting
stars we all have seen, we have begun to wonder whether its meteors or just
space junk falling back to earth. As long as it misses us we will not be a
Chicken Little.. ..(Chicken Lickin for the English, same story) Today
brought bright sun this morning and our first run with the Spinnaker (Sail).
After getting the massive sail up, an hour later the winds changed again.
Instead of sailing North, we dropped it and once again run with a poled out
genoa and full main. Rolling, rolling, and rolling. We are all doing fine
and continue our South Westerly track.

Another round of hugs and kisses,
The crew of S.V. Infiniti
