Romping along at 7kts, clear sky, sunny, wind Force 4 ESE. Can this last?!
Nautilus a mile to the south but converging.
The jamming of the second reefing line in the boom caught us out last night and we had to sail under one reef. We were able to clear it this morning but its a pain.
Annie managed three hours sleep last night which is good for a first night……
We are aiming for a waypoint 4S 96W to pick up steady trade wind - above this latitude the wind is likely to die and the Doldrums predominate.
The fishing line is out and we have high hopes after Annie’s success with a Dorado between Santa Cruz and Isobela.
