Portishead, 9th July 2015 and four weeks after our “official” send off from Bristol. Still, the house has now been emptied and cleaned ready for the tenants tomorrow, the flat is furnished and tidy, Dad has been into and out of hospital for an operation and we have done as much as we can with Vega short of getting out to sea and learning how to use and maintain the new equipment that we hope will steer us, power us and enable us to communicate with the rest of the world. A high pressure weather system is building over Biscay so all is set for the run down to Spain where we aim to make landfall at A Coruna on Wednesday 16th July…………..
