End of Day 6....Arrived in Luxor after a 95km ride. The first 15km to Qena,
basically saying goodbye to the desert for a while, and then turning right
at the Nile taking the road that follows a major Nile aqueduct into Luxor.
What a change in scenary...from the stark desert and few people to the lush
green, date tree lined pastures along the banks of the Nile.....how
important this river is hey! And the people...well the road was just lined
with kids shouting hello, as I rode by. A rest day tomorrow and an
opportunity to explore what Luxor has to offer.
Saturday its off again following the Nile to Aswan.
