Had a land day where we looked around the beautiful Stanley. Caro and Cathy hit the shops, pretty out of character for both of them as it wasn’t Vinnies, which could have been dangerous but all seems to have ended ok.

Also a sad day as Cathy and Ian left in their boat to rejoin the rat race. We have had a great cruise with them in company. We will wait here till the Ne’ly wind pattern moves and then probably head for Deal Island. That’s Plan A for now anyway. We have hired a car and will go and look around a little of the North West corner tomorrow. The weather is again playing ball in that it’s hot and sunny and calm.

Tonight we took Louie to the back beach where she had a great time fishing and chasing sea gulls. For dinner we ate flake (gummy shark in its former life) on the aft deck in the fishing harbour. My elbow is still aching from reeling it in, but worth it.
