Friday 8^th Feb: Wooden Boat Festival started today. Weather quite hot with a little too much wind that kept the parade of sail numbers down. Most boats in dock now so a long day as volunteers helping them tie up. Amazing spectacle. Some great boats and can’t wait till tomorrow to have a good look around. Already seen half of Pittwater here so hope somebody is left to turn out the lights.

Louie is out of surgery (had a lump cut off her paw) and in high spirits, guess even dogs get good drugs. We are having a quiet night with her tonight.

Bushfire has been burning for three days now just behind Mt Wellington and it’s blowing hard, so tough for locals.
