Spent last night alongside at Eden wharf. Bit like a goldfish bowl with all the fisher people along the wharf all night. Lots of returning Hobart legends waiting for the Southerly to head north.

Today loaded up with last minute supplies like smoked mussels, smoked salmon and gravalax from the local smoke house.

All finished by 10 as it was as hot as you know what. Very strong westerly so anchored off Cocora beach until the change hooted in, then came over to Boyd town, where we expect 20-25 from the SW tonight.

Toilet (Head for nauto’s) problem but fortunately I only had a mild dunking and not the usual swim in it. All fixed and ready for the next challenge.

Tomorrow we are heading to Bittangabea Creek, just north of Green Cape, which has been highly recommended by Tim Stranack so looking forward to that and then if all goes to plan we set off on Thursday morning for Flinders Is.
