Well we didn't quite make it to the Fastnet Rock.
We managed to break the following things
No2 reefing block
Lost the main halyard to the top of the mast.
One of the batten pockets nearly came apart.
It was the latter that started all the troubles.
We did have the option of going to Kinsale again for repairs, but felt people at home might thing we would do anything to go for a night out in Kinsale.
We had done enough miles, and with our jury rig for the main halyard, we would make it to Milford Haven. This way completing our 300 mile minimum passage.
