The boys, Tom and (not such a boy) Joe are on the back deck doing their exercises, they should be doing their homework from sextant school. They are slowly slipping behind, and as for Alison, she keeps sliping into the galley and cleaning something.

We had to have remedial sextant school this morning, so we will see if it produces results on the next few sights. It may be that Tom will be the first person to get his Ocean Yachtmaster theory before his day skipper. As for Joe who has said he will sign up for the next Coastal/Yachtmaster theory course will be a little ahead of his fellow students.

Waiting for afternoon T and scones at the moment, the scones are in the oven, and can just smell them, we have bread rising under the doghouse, waiting to be put in the oven.

We have found a rat on the boat, and Tom has called him Randy, lets hope we don’t have a female rat on board as well, Skipper Splodge, and Mack have therefore gained a new friend.
