Hi All
Greetings from Hecuba now berthed in the new marina in Porto.
Great run down here from Baiona.
Quite a lot of wind off NW Spain as an on land low pressure system met with the Azores high but sneaking south, Hecuba ran perfectly under genoa only, with mostly 20-25 knots dead astern.
Porto looks to be a fascinating city - not surprisingly home of Port wine - which we will no doubt sample as we explore the city this afternoon.
From here to our final stop in mainland Portugal - before leaving for Madeira - is around 300 nautical miles so we expect to enjoy some good sailing and port exploring over the next few weeks.
Will keep you posted.
