Blimey what a day!! Torrential rain on and off since 0200, squalls
thunderstorms everywhere! At least the wind is nearly in the right direction
except 20 to 30 kts is a bit much when you're going into it. Big problem
with the Genoa furling line almost chafing through. If that had parted
whilst trying to wind the sail in during a gale..........................I
just don't want to think about it. Two variable that we have added may have
caused it. I've removed one and I 'll see if that does the trick. One hatch
leaking as well but may have sorted that.........fingers crossed. Not much
sleep due to all of the above but tonight may be better.
