Round the ice

Today finds us in much the same shape as yesterday. South-southwesterly winds are still allowing us a westerly course. We are now almost at the turning point around the southern most extent of the ice field. If you’re interested you could have a look where it is, just google NOAA Ice limit and I’m sure you’ll find it. As we have been getting closer we have seen an increase in the number of ships sighted, as I would guess they are all heading round the ice, same as us.

Weather’s still the same, hot and sunny. The heat isn’t particularly to our taste as you may have gathered already, but we can’t complain too much. There are plenty of worse alternatives.
