All is looking much better! At 11am we were towed off the rocks and
beached. At 12am a crane arrived and lifted us on to the shore. At 1pm the
boat was all chocked up and the damage assessed.Amazingly the only serious
damage was to the rudder. At 2pm the rudder had been taken off and sent for
repair. The rudder will be put back tomorrow (Wednesday) and the crane
will be back about lunchtime to put us back in the water. The Hungarians
are so kind and helpful.the total cost will be less than 1000 euros!
Dave and Julie have spent two nights in an hotel and Nick has kept watch
on board. We have been fed and watered well and made many friends. I just
hope that the Serbians,Rumanians and Bulgarians are as kind and helpful!
