Bill, Emma, Henri and Tino arrived safely in Rubicon Marina
Lanzarotte on 2nd November having left Hamble on 8th
October. Preparations are well underway for the new crew of Great Escape to
join the boat in Las Palmas
week beginning 18th November for their ARC2006 trip. Michelle and
David, our Skipper, fly out to Rubicon this weekend to start prepping the boat
and move to Las Palmas.
The trip down was a hard trip against the generally SW
winds. Only in the last week did the wind swing more favourably from the NE.
Stops in Bayonna, Cascais, Lagos
and Morocco
were made.

Our ARC 2006 crew will be made up of David our skipper, Tony
our first mate then Ian, Jackie, Lizzie, Pascal, Andrew and Martin. We
look forward to updates and pictures of the voyage.
