At last! – a perfect anchorage where we can stay a while.  We’ve been beset with NE winds for a while now, and there is precious little shelter along this coast apart from in marinas.  However, this anchorage called El Rinconet (the little corner) protects us almost completely from the NE swell, and although the winds find there way over the headland, it’s still a perfect spot.  So we stayed for 3 nights, swimming lots, going ashore to walk to nearby Moraira  and drink/shop a couple of times, and generally chill out.  It’s been slightly spoilt by an 82ft motor cruiser anchoring right on top of us, inhibiting certain behaviours (that some might say needed inhibiting anyway!), but the swimming has been wonderful and mercifully jellyfish free.

As you can see from the photo, it’s a popular spot in these conditions.
